Video of Octagon Global Recruiting Rep at Booth

Thanks to Matt and Carlost for the heads up about this OGR video.

In this clip, you see Emma a member of the OGR explaining the testing process.

There is tons of footage that we were able to grab and will slowly upload over the next few days. Special thanks to all of the OGR reps, including Emma, Darin, Bonnie and the whole team for their insight and help the last few days at the booth. They were patient as were fans with the issues with the Bluetooth downloads.

Damon and Carlton Make a Surprise Visit at the OGR Booth!!

LOST Producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Linedlof made a surprise visit to the Octagon Global Recruiting booth right after the EW Visionaries panel.

We happened to arrive right after both arrived and Cuse was taking the DI test. Immediately a large gathering of fans surrounded the tiny booth, but we were there with a few other Losties and Gwen, Ron and I were able to get some good pics.

As I said last year after CC, Cuse and Lindelof are the coolest guys and spent quite a bit of time to take several pics with fans and talk to them. We even got some good video footage and will post it soon!!

Here are the pics:

Exclusive: Dharma OGR Video via Bluetooth

Finally, thanks to an inside source and friend at the OGR booth, we were able to secure a video taped version of the Secret "hacked" video that was being sent out via Bluetooth.

Sorry for the quality, but for now this is the best we can get because the BT was not working.

The audio unfortunately is noise from the exhibit floor, but think of RM 23, when the images pop into the scrambled video.

The OGR was confirmed today as the new AGR and it seems like RuckusGuy was trying to send some message to us.

If anyone is able to figure anything please let us know and we will get it posted.

Enjoy and namaste.

The bt is still not working but we got the video from an inside source

We are working to upload it but it is a dharma video with some flashing images like room 23 and find815

More details soon

Here are a few more HQ images of the Octagon Global Recruiting.

Thanks to The Spoiler Hunter for the images.

Details of Dharma Initiative OGR Test

As most Losties at Comic Con know by now it is a little chaotic near the OGR booth and getting the opportunity to take the test for many has been tough. However several have had the opportunity to take the 5 minute test.

One of the lucky ones in to the test booth was Tapdawg and he was even able to sneak in a video camera, so he was able to post a full report.

So thanks to Tapdawg for this report about the OGR test details and the video.

You can watch the video at DocArzt site where he posted the video.

Tapdawg here, here's a list of the questions they asked me:

1. State my name while holding up my number (they give it to you when you take the test)
2. Repeat the word three times, louder each time (the word was Continuum)
3. How am I feeling right now (Feeling great)
4. What animal do I relate to the most (The Cheetah)
5. What 3 words best describe you? (Energetic, Generous and Sporadic)
6. What's your first memory? (I said when i peed my pants while dancing at a wedding... i said i was 6 but i realize now i was 2)
7. Who is your constant? (My mom)
8. A weird question like, if anything can happen does that mean that nothing can happen too? (I said yes)
9. Do polar bears make good pets? (I said yes, because they are nice and furry)

From here I saw pictures and had to say the first word that popped into my head
1. A Young boy is squirting a hose onto a young girl (I answered wet)
2. A sign posted an a tree said 'surprise?' (I answered interesting)
3. A picture of a single lane road in the dark woods (I said dark)
4. A skeletal side view of the teeth and jaw (I said mandible)

Words Inside the Octagon Global Recruiting Booth

Hi all,

As you all know, cameras are not allowed in the Octagon Global Recruiting booth while they are conducting their test. But that didn't stop us from getting images from the screen that the testers, and only the testers, see.

According to those who have taken the test, they were given eight choices.

The first six choices are pretty easy to see. What's the last two?

Preview Booth - Lost Pictures

As promised, here are a few pictures of the Lost booth, flyer, and little lego (?) losties. I will try to take better ones tomorrow if I can! =)

Preview Night - Octagon Global Recruiting Lost Booth

Preview night at Comic-Con was a zoo. We got a late start, and had a hard time making our way to the Dharma booth because of the level of people. When we got there, there was quite a large crowd in front of the exhibit. The exhibit itself is metallic silver in color. There is a center "recruitment area" where two Dharma representatives are standing in front of a backlit Dharma logo. Above their head is a video screen, where you can see people being "interviewed". The interview booths are on either side of the recruiters. We made our way to the exhibit, and tried to take pictures, but most of them did not turn out, because people kept getting in our way. We tried to sign up for a session, but they told us they were booked, and that we had to come back Thursday at 9am to try again (we will try again for sure). We were also surprised, because we expected a larger site and display (the Heroes exhibit is huge compared to Lost), but it was well done nonetheless.

They also plugged the seminar (panel) that will be held on Saturday, and handed us a two sided flyer which I have tried to take a picture of. On one side, it says "Dharma Wants You" and plugs the website, on the other, are origami instructions to fold the flyer into a swan. We also saw a preview billboard for some Lego (?) Lost figurines. I will post pictures next - I apologize for the quailty, but I have not slept in 24 hrs and it was soooo busy there!

OGR Planned to Keep us Busy Until Season 4

So it seems like the OGR event at San Diego Comic Con will indeed after all become a ARG that will lead into season 4.

Here are some more details:

When Comic-Con opens its doors July 24, don’t be surprised to see “Lost” fans lining up in droves — with resumes in hand.

In addition to the regular panel with showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse and cast members, this year’s confab will see the presence of Octagon Global Recruiting, a company in the “Lost” universe touted in commercials during May’s season-four finale.

Fans who registered their email addresses at the Octagon website received an email last month touting the faux firm’s upcoming Comic-Con appearance.

Michael Benson, exec VP of ABC Marketing, says the campaign is aimed at keeping current fans interested until the show’s February return, and to catch the eye of people who hadn’t watched before. “We were trying to play it like it was real and not break that fourth wall,” Benson says.

While Benson is keeping mum about what will be revealed at Comic-Con, the Octagon email did have an intriguing bonus hook: It was cc’d to a Mr. Hans Van Eeghen, who may or may not have something to do with the ever-broadening “Lost” universe.

New OGR Email and Booth Confirmation

Hey All,
As most of you probably know by now, Octagon Global Recruiting sent out their second email confirming some more details and plans for Comic Con. For those that still do not know we have a team of Losties including myself that wll be at CC next week do our best to bring you full details.

We have created a special Comic Con Live page on the site that will be updated throughout the day with various item from CC. You can access the page via that banner at the top of this page OR the following link (make sure you subscribe or bookmark it):

http://comicconlive.blogspot.com/

The new OGR email actually confirmed quite a few things:

1) Hans Van Eeghen is the head of Dharma Recruiting will be at CC.
2) The OGR Booth will be at 3529
3) 10 Random fans will randomly be selected for one of the 10 "pre-release appointments" with a recruiting officer. If you want a chance to be entered in the drawing you need to be on the OGR mailing list (sign up here), get the email below and click on the special link to confirm your email address.
4) After CC starting July 28th, the following site will continue the GR activities:
http://www.dharmawantsyou.com/
5) Additionally ound in the source code of the email, was a hidden message:

Thanks to our good friends at DarkUFO for finding the hidden message which seems like some communication from a "RuckusGuy" who seems like could end up being the new Rachel Blake (TLE) or Sam (Find815). The hidden message is posted below the OGR email.

…If you’re reading this, wanna hear something cool?
I’ve got intel about his little “recruitment drive.”
They’re doing some kind’ve personality/IQ testing or something down in SD for ComicCon.
Buddy of mine works down there and has the approvals for their “booth,” he says once you go in no one knows what happens inside and you need an appointment to get in. He also said to make sure you’ve got your Bluetooth on and visible – he’s rigged up a little something.

The whole thing sounds like elitist B.S., doesn’t it?
Well, I’m getting in that booth and taking the test.
As many times as I have to before I “pass” (whatever that means?)
And then…
If I can?
I’m gonna tape it so EVERYONE can see what these idiots are up to.
Should be fun, right?
See ya in SD. RuckusGuy OUT.
